February 2024, CFA Society Germany, working together with Mink Learning, offered a focused Private Equity Bootcamp. The event drew professionals from all across Germany for a concentrated day of learning, including attendees travelling from major cities like Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, and Berlin.
The intensive session covered key aspects of the private equity cycle:
- The importance of prioritizing questions when conducting due diligence with management teams
- How private equity firms plan for the sale before the purchase is made
- The transition of the industry to create value using operational expertise more than through financial engineering
This 2024 bootcamp proved successful enough that extending it was the clear next step, leading directly to the two-day format offered in the next year.
